I just got her out of the paint booth. Progress is very slow, but the results are worth it. We still have a lot of small parts to spray and the underbody. Still needs color polish and some more red details up front. I think it's coming out great.

Black with red stripe is my fav. I had a '96 Ram with the same colors, black with a red stripe although it was down the side. awesome choice!

I am still deciding on wheels. I will absolutely not be using those things on there now. The car came with them and a horrible color changing paint job on it. I'm thinking heavily about the stock style steel wheels with the large chrome cover with the Dodge fratzog emblem. They came on Roadrunners back in the day. I think I would like to paint the rims the color of the R/T stripe, but I'm still playing with different ideas. I also thought about the old Cobra wheels with the knock off style rims.

Awesome! This was the first thing that came to my mind. Can't wait to see it in its complete glory. May the inaugural burnout be loud and smoky and the tires leave its mark for miles down the road.

I've got a cammed 6.1 Hemi from a 2008 Challenger. I also got a Tremec Tk600 5 speed. Should be really fun once I get it all set up and working.
